Job summary

Avnet is seeking an entry to mid-level assembler to support the manufacturing floor in Singapore. The role focuses on assembling electronic components per strict customer build instructions, labeling, and packaging for shipment.

Responsibilities include following ISO procedures, capturing serial numbers, maintaining records, and seeking opportunities to improve processes and metrics while handling routine duties with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks and prepares parts, captures serial numbers, labels, repacks for processing.
• Assembles simple sub-assemblies following build instructions.
• Follows ISO procedures and documented build instructions.
• Documents actions by completing production stamps and records.
• Identifies opportunities to improve processes and metrics.
• Maintains electronic and hard copy records as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities

• Unpacks (post inbound de-trash), performs serial number capture, labeling, repack and other manufacturing preparation and finishing duties as required.
• Performs simple assembly of various sub-assemblies.
• Follows detailed build instructions, best practices and ISO procedures.
• Documents actions by completing production electronic stamp offs.
• Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
• Updates and maintains electronic and hard copy records and/or files as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
