Job summary

RECRUIT INC PRIVATE LIMITED on behalf of its client seeks a Production Assistant for a high-volume environment in Singapore. You will operate production equipment, monitor performance, and assist with onboarding new operators.

The role involves handling raw materials, recording data for traceability, and ensuring quality compliance throughout the shift. Location is East (Changi North); shift hours are 7am-7pm day or 7pm-7am night, with a 4-day work week including Saturday.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing or production is an advantage but not required.
• Able to follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Basic understanding of production flow and quality checks.
• Team-oriented, responsible and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment according to standard procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and identify operational issues or quality deviations.
• Escalate equipment or process issues for timely resolution.
• Assist onboarding and guidance for new operators when required.
• Carry out production tasks per work instructions and targets.
• Record production data for traceability and documentation.
• Verify receipt of raw materials and support material handling.
• Conduct end-process checks for quantity, quality and defects.
• Prepare finished goods for transfer to downstream handling or packing.

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a microelectronics manufacturing company, for Production Assistant to support operations in a high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation & Monitoring

• Operate production equipment according to standard procedures
• Monitor machine performance and identify any operational issues or product quality deviations
• Support basic troubleshooting by escalating equipment or process issues to the relevant team
• Assist in onboarding and guiding new operators when required

Production Execution & Quality Compliance

• Carry out production tasks in accordance with work instructions and production targets
• Record production data where required to support traceability and documentationEnsure compliance with quality standards throughout the production process

Material Handling & Process Support

• Verify and confirm receipt of raw materials from warehouse based on production requirements
• Support loading and handling of raw materials and semi-finished goods
• Conduct end-process checks including quantity, quality, and defect verification
• Prepare finished goods for transfer to downstream handling or packing processes
• Role involves manual handling of materials weighing approximately 15–20kg

Requirements

• Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments is an advantage, but not required

• Able to start work within short notice preferred
