Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing activities.

You will coordinate materials, assist in packaging, and help ensure a smooth end-to-end production flow, while maintaining strict SOPs and a clean, safe workplace. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, have 2 years of manufacturing experience, and are eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
• Willingness to learn new processes.
• Good communication with colleagues and suppliers.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 14001/9001/45001) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange raw materials and packaging for daily production.
• Support end-to-end production, including bottle labelling, filling, and movement of finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area for safety.
• Assist in maintaining production machinery, equipment, and assets.
• Manage production-related documents from pre-weighing to warehouse handover.
• Support ISO audits by updating and maintaining relevant documentation.
• Liaise with raw material suppliers for quotations, stock checks, and sourcing.
• Identify alternative sources for obsolete materials and coordinate testing.
• Assist onboarding and training of new production team members.
• Assist in purchase requisitions for raw materials based on production needs.
• Assist management with production planning and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs throughout production activities.
• Work with the team to meet production targets and smooth daily operations.
• Develop understanding of complete production workflow and provide cross-stage support.
• Create, update, and maintain information in the SAP system.
• Provide feedback and updates during monthly staff meetings.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by Management.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange raw materials and packaging materials required for daily production activities.
• Support the end-to-end production process, including bottle labelling, filling, handling, and movement of finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the production area to ensure a safe and organised working environment.
• Assist in maintaining production machinery, equipment, and other departmental assets in good working condition.
• Manage and maintain production-related documentation and records, including preparation, updates, issuance, and filing from pre-weighing through to the handover of finished goods to the warehouse.
• Support internal and external ISO audits by preparing, updating, recording, and maintaining relevant documentation.
• Liaise with raw material suppliers to obtain quotations, check stock availability, and support sourcing activities.
• Identify alternative sources for obsolete or unavailable raw materials and coordinate preliminary testing where required prior to procurement.
• Assist with the onboarding, training, and guidance of new production team members.
• Support the preparation of purchase requisitions for raw materials based on production requirements and inventory levels.
• Assist Management with production planning and scheduling based on inventory levels and operational requirements.
• Ensure production activities, work processes, and the working environment comply with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth daily operations and achievement of production targets.
• Develop a good understanding of the complete production workflow and provide support across different stages of the manufacturing process when required.
• Create, update, and maintain relevant information and records in the SAP system.
• Provide feedback, suggestions, and operational updates during monthly staff meetings.
• Undertake other projects, duties, and assignments as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline will be bonus
• 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take a hands-on approach to production operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, clients, and business associates.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 will be advantageous.
