Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking a Production Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role focuses on driving daily production performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while maintaining high quality, productivity, and cleanroom discipline.

The candidate will oversee KPI tracking, implement process improvements, and develop training programs to elevate technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of production/manufacturing management experience.
• Hands-on people management and team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of KPIs: output, quality, cost, cycle time, productivity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid problem-solving and continual improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators to meet production KPIs and business goals.
• Monitor and drive daily performance across output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity.
• Identify process gaps and implement CI initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Develop and execute action plans to address production issues and hit performance targets.
• Implement training programmes to strengthen technical skills of the production team.
• Ensure cleanroom discipline, housekeeping, and operator adherence.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to sustain production performance and operational excellence.

The role will be responsible for driving daily production performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and cleanroom discipline.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline;
• Must have at least 5 years of production / manufacturing management experience;
• Hands-on experience in people management and team leadership;
• Strong understanding of production KPIs including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a high-technology manufacturing environment;
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment;
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace discipline;
• Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives;
• Experience developing and implementing training programmes for production teams.
