Job summary

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Manager / Section Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators in a semiconductor manufacturing environment in Singapore.

You will drive daily production performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence with a focus on quality, productivity and cleanroom discipline. The role requires hands-on leadership, KPI management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to address production

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of production/manufacturing management experience.
• Hands-on experience in people management and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of production KPIs including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators to achieve production KPIs and business objectives.
• Monitor and drive daily performance across output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity.
• Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute action plans to address production issues and achieve performance targets.
• Implement training programmes to strengthen the technical skills and capabilities of the production team.
• Ensure proper cleanroom cleanliness, housekeeping, and operator discipline are maintained.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to support production performance and achieve operational excellence.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline;
• Must have at least5 years of production / manufacturing management experience;
• Hands-on experience in people management and team leadership;
• Strong understanding of production KPIs including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a high-technology manufacturing environment;
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment;
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace discipline;
• Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives;
• Experience developing and implementing training programmes for production teams.
