Job summary

Beyonics International Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a plastics injection molding engineer to drive productivity and process excellence on the plant floor.

You will lead capability studies, optimize machine settings, test new or modified moulds, and oversee tooling for new products to meet quality and productivity goals.

Degree or diploma in Engineering (Polymer/Plastic Technology or Mechanical) with at least 3 years in plastic injection molding, preferably in medical or automotive sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in engineering-related discipline, preferably Polymer/Plastic Technology or Mechanical.
• At least 3 years’ experience in plastic injection molding, preferably in medical or automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement productivity programs for the plant
• Process improvement through capability studies
• Preparation of process instruction
• Fault finding and troubleshooting of process / tooling-related problems during production and testing
• Participates in company’s overall quality and process goals
• Initiate and conduct the test of new or modified mould and determine optimum machine settings or optimal process cycle
• Achieve company’s productivity improvement objective in-house quality & process goals
• Oversees tooling for new products
• Participate and recommendsolutions to moulding problems related to moulds
• Initiate engineering change
• Implementation of mould preventive maintenance programs
• Track movement of moulds andcollaborate with Production Department
• Coordinate and keep track of service record of moulds
