Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering, with 3+ years in manufacturing assembly environments.
• Strong communication, mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Good problem-solving skills and familiarity with root-cause analysis and 8D methodology.
• Commitment to safety standards and process safety management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production staff and assemblies to ensure quality and safety.
• Organize and motivate mini-companies for daily production activity.
• Develop training and rotation plans to improve flexibility and productivity.
• Liaise with engineers to plan productivity improvements in cost and manpower.
• Monitor efficiency and production output to sustain productivity gains.
• Support engineering/manufacturing teams; draw up safety protocols; report issues to the manager.
• Lead root-cause analysis and 8D actions to resolve non-conformances.
• Conduct daily supervisor and production meetings to ensure on-time delivery.
• Record and report department activities and results in productivity reviews.
• Manage consumables and non-capitalized spending.
