Job summary

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer to plan and implement cost-effective, low-risk manufacturing/assembly processes from raw material to completion, including Product Quality Plan (PQP).

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in mechanical/electrical/precision engineering with at least 2 years in semiconductor process engineering, solid problem-solving, Excel proficiency, and good communication to support cleanroom operations and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical or Precision Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a process engineer in the Semiconductor industry or equivalent.
• Mechanical and electrical workmanship.
• Experience in working in cleanroom will be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transfer of Project, Technology, System from customer to VDL for New product development.
• Define and establish Project Plan for Assembly to meet on time delivery.
• Feasibility study for New Assembly.
• Identify the facilities/supplies required for the assembly.
• Define and establish Project Plan for Assembly to meet on time delivery.
• Resolve technical issues in assembly to ensure smooth production.
• Manage technical changes to fulfill customer requirement.
• Implement improvements to processes for cost effectiveness.
• Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.
