Job summary

GRC Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a production coordinator to manage precast production in the West Singapore yard. You will plan daily activities, monitor subcontractors and ensure adherence to approved drawings and schedules.

The role requires reading shop drawings, strong coordination, and clear English communication. You will work in a factory setting and contribute to safety, housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs based on approved shop drawings.
• Plan and follow up on daily production activities per project schedule.
• Coordinate with supervisors, QA/QC, stores, mould team, maintenance, subcontractors and delivery team.
• Coordinate with labour subcontractors and ensure they understand daily production requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower attendance and quality of work.
• Monitor casting activities to maintain safety and schedule.
• Follow up on pre-pour and post-pour inspections and delivery readiness.
• Update daily production records and production status.
• Identify production delays, manpower issues, quality concerns and material shortages promptly.
• Ensure precast components are produced per drawings and quality requirements.
• Prepare weekly or monthly production summaries when required.
• Maintain records of subcontractor output, production issues and follow-up actions.
• Support housekeeping, safety compliance and continuous improvement in the yard.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Production Manager.

• Coordinate with supervisors, QA/QC, stores, mould team, maintenance, subcontractors, and delivery team to ensure smooth production operations.
• Coordinate with labour subcontractors and ensure they understand the daily production requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower attendance, productivity, and quality of work.
• Monitor casting activities to ensure production is carried out correctly, safely, and within the required schedule.
• Follow up on pre-pour and post-pour inspections, repair works, and delivery readiness.
• Update daily production records, including casting quantities, mould usage, balance quantities, and production status.
• Identify and highlight production delays, manpower issues, quality concerns, and material shortages promptly.
• Ensure precast components are produced in accordance with approved drawings and quality requirements.
• Prepare weekly or monthly production summaries and reports when required.
• Maintain proper records of subcontractor output, production issues, and agreed follow-up actions.
• Maintain production records, photographs, inspection forms, and related documentation.
• Support housekeeping, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the production yard.
• Perform any other production-related duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in precast production or a precast manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
• Able to read and understand shop drawings.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Good coordination, organisational, and follow-up skills.
• Willing to work in the factory located in the West of Singapore.
• Locals will be preferred
