Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a production engineer in the construction sector.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals, with proactive communication in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Engineers in managing production teams to optimise resource utilization and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality Control, Logistics, and other departments to align production activities and resolve issues.
• Enforce safe work methods and procedures on site.
• Monitor and ensure SOP compliance to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ensure outputs meet customer requirements including delivery schedules and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for production tracking.
• Attend site/project meetings with main and sub-contractors.

Job Summary

Assist Production Engineers in managing production teams to optimize resource use, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure safety compliance, and meet customer requirements for delivery, quality, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Engineers in managing production teams to optimise resource utilization and operational efficiency
• Coordinate effectively with Planning, Quality Control, Logistics, and other departments to align production activities and resolve issues
• Implement and enforce safe work methods, proper tool usage, and adherence to safety procedures on site
• Monitor and ensure compliance with production and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain operational standards
• Ensure all production outputs are made to the highest standards of quality, and coordinate with QC to investigate and reduce reject rates and rectifications needed
• Deliver production outputs that meet customer requirements including timely delivery schedules, accurate documentation, quality standards, and safety expectations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support production tracking and compliance
• Attend site/project meetings with the main and sub-contractors.

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognised university
• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a production engineer in the construction sector
