Job summary

K.U.S PRE-CAST (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to coordinate precast production and site installation in Singapore. You will align factory schedules with installation sequences and liaise with main contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve interface issues.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, planning crane lifting, coordinating logistics, and ensuring safety and quality compliance across production and on-site activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Professional certification (PMP or PE) is an advantage.
• 8–10 years of construction project management experience with at least 5 years specifically in precast concrete production and/or installation.
• Proven experience liaising with main contractors, consultants, and site teams on installation coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end coordination between site, Technical Department and Pre-cast factory to align production schedules with site installation sequences.
• Review drawings to understand design intent, application, and installation method of precast components.
• Liaise with the main contractor on site to understand installation requirements, crane lifting plans, access constraints, and sequencing needs.
• Translate site conditions into actionable production and delivery schedules for the precast factory.
• Monitor production status, quality control, and readiness against site timelines.
• Coordinate delivery logistics to match site installation windows.
• Attend site coordination meetings to resolve interface issues.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design, production and site conditions.
• Manage variation orders and change requests and their impact on both production and site schedule.
• Prepare progress reports, production status updates, and installation forecasts for management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during production and on-site handling/installation.
• Support problem-solving on-site during precast erection and address technical queries from the main contractor.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee end-to-end coordination between the construction site, Technical Department and Pre-cast factory to ensure production schedules align with site installation sequences.

2. Review architectural, structural, and shop drawings to understand the design intent, application, and installation method of precast components (e.g., columns, beams, walls, slabs, staircases, PBU & PPVC).

3. Liaise with the main contractor on site to understand installation requirements, crane lifting plans, access constraints, and sequencing needs.

4. Translate site conditions and progress into actionable production and delivery schedules for the precast factory.

5. Monitor and track precast component production status, quality control, and readiness against site installation timelines.

6. Coordinate delivery logistics (transportation, storage, lifting sequence) to match site installation windows and avoid delays or double-handling.

7. Attend site coordination meetings with the main contractor, consultants, and other trades to resolve interface issues (e.g., cast-in items, tolerances, connection details).

8. Identify and resolve discrepancies between design, production, and site conditions (e.g., dimensional variances, RFIs, non-conformances).

9. Manage variation orders, change requests, and their impact on both production and site schedule.

10. Prepare progress reports, production status updates, and installation forecasts for management.

11. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during production and on-site handling/installation if required.

12. Support problem-solving on-site during precast erection, including addressing technical queries from the main contractor's site team.

13. Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and logistics providers involved in precast delivery and installation.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, or PE/professional engineer registration) is an advantage.
  

Experience Required:

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years specifically in precast concrete production and/or installation
• Proven experience in liaising with main contractors, consultants, and site teams on installation coordination.

Competencies and Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of precast component design, manufacturing processes, and structural applications (columns,beams, slabs, walls, staircases, facades, PBU & PPVC.)

• Familiarity with site construction sequences, crane lifting operations, and erection methodologies for precast elements.

• Ability to read and interpret structural/shop drawings and specifications.

• Good knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards (e.g., BCA requirements in Singapore).

• Strong project scheduling skills (MS Project or similar) and experience managing production-to-site logistics.

• Excellent communication, negotiation,and problem-solving skills to manage cross-functional coordination between factory and site teams.
