Job summary

SUNWAY CONCRETE PRODUCTS (S) PTE LTD is seeking a Production Planner/Controller for its precast manufacturing operations in Singapore. You will plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules and project delivery requirements, monitor progress, and drive improvements across methods and resources.

You will work with Design/Technical, QA/QC, Planning and Logistics teams to resolve issues, ensure quality and timely delivery, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards on site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality control within construction or precast manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and testing methods for concrete products.
  • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily precast production activities to meet production schedules and project delivery requirements.
  • Monitor production progress, productivity, manpower, materials, moulds and equipment to achieve production targets.
  • Oversee the full production cycle, including mould preparation, reinforcement, casting, curing, demoulding and finishing.
  • Ensure production is carried out according to approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements and work procedures.
  • Coordinate with Design/Technical teams to resolve drawing discrepancies, constructability issues and other production-related technical matters.
  • Work closely with QA/QC to ensure precast components meet required quality, dimensional and workmanship standards.
  • Investigate production defects and non-conformance issues and implement appropriate corrective actions to minimise rework and wastage.
  • Identify and implement improvements to production methods, cycle time, productivity and resource utilisation, including automation and mechanisation initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Logistics, Maintenance and other relevant teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of completed precast components.
  • Ensure production activities comply with workplace safety requirements and maintain good housekeeping within the production area.
