Job summary

KIAN YEO BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee day-to-day precast operations, coordinate planning and ensure smooth project delivery. You will prepare shop drawings, monitor progress, and address discrepancies while liaising with clients, suppliers and authorities.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams to meet design, budget, timeline, quality, safety and environmental requirements for each project. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating day-to-day precast/construction operations.
• Ability to plan, schedule and execute project delivery.
• Fluent in drafting and reviewing shop drawings for precast components.

Job Description & Requirements

• Oversee the coordination of day-to-day operation in the precast concrete activities.
• Responsible for overall delivery of the project including planning, scheduling and execution.
• Preparation of shop drawings for precast (PC) component monitors the progress of coordination and settlement of all discrepancies and issues relating to drawing.Implement cost effective design and project management methods.
• Liaises with clients, suppliers and related authorities on project-related issues.
• Review Project specification and requirement and highlighting the deviations and requirement to Contracts Manager/other Engineer.
• Produce project design to meet project specification and technical offer, ensuring accurate information to meet project delivery.
• Liaise with internal/external customers and suppliers on technical matters.
• Support Sales and Production on technical details.
• Meet criteria on design, budget, timeline, quality, safety and environmental requirements established for each project.
• Co-ordinate and interact with the project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors.
• Prepare & update project status by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information gathered.
• Responsible for updating on technical information / documentation.
• Involvement compliance to WHS regulations, Code of Practices, Design, Safe Management Measures.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations.
• Prepare, submission and filing of Project-related reports such as Risk Assessment (RA), Method of Statement (MOS), Lifting Plan, Manpower Appointment, Permit to Work and etc.
• Ensure all documentation of records are up to date and filed accordingly.
• Proficient with Rebar Oder; as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, modelling software such as AutoCAD.
