Job summary

AlwaysHired Pte Ltd in Tuas is seeking a production operator to monitor and manage daily manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and output targets while minimizing downtime. Transportation pickup is available at Clementi, Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Boon Lay and Jurong Point.

You will assist in equipment setup, operation, maintenance, calibration, and routine inspections, while collecting data and reporting performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience in adhesive, paint or chemical industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily production processes to meet quality and output targets.

• Perform routine inspections, calibration, and adjustments on machinery.
• Collect and analyze production data to prepare performance reports.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance and identify long-term improvements.

• Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams; support operator training.
• Suggest cost-saving and productivity improvements.

Location: Tuas (Transport pickup available at Clementi, Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Boon Lay Jurong Point)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage daily production processes to meet quality and output targets, promptly addressing process deviations to minimize downtime.
• Actively participate in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, and take over production responsibilities during operator absences to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Perform routine inspections, calibration, and adjustments on machinery and equipment while documenting production activities, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, prepare daily and weekly performance reports, and ensure accurate recording of production metrics.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, identifying recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring safe equipment operation and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams, supporting training programs for operators to enhance their skills.
• Propose innovative ideas for continuous improvement, focusing on cost savings and productivity enhancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the adhesive, paint, or chemical industry is an advantage.
