Job summary

A & ONE PRECISION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an engineer to execute and support production directives, manage First Article Run to customer approval, and oversee project planning from order receipt to completion.

The role requires knowledge of machining processes (CNC Mill/Turn), CAD/CAM software, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments on technical requirements and QC procedures. Fresh engineering graduates may be considered for entry roles.

Qualifications

• NTC / Diploma / Degree in Precision Engineering / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing field or equivalent.
• Fresh degree holder in engineering related field may be considered for Engineer position.
• Others with relevant education must have 3–8 years of experiences in precision engineering or equivalent field.
• Have sound and practical hands-on knowledge on machining processes such as CNC Milling/Turning is a plus.
• Preferably with hands on knowledge of CAD / CAM application software.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support directives in production.
• Fully responsible for First Article Run till Approval and preliminary production run lots.
• Plan, monitor and control projects from order receipt through completion and customer acceptance.
• Review and implement Process Routes, Inspection Plans and other procedures according to project specs.
• Design jigs and fixtures for machining and develop CNC programs for machining runs.
• Coordinate with inter-departments on technical requirements and engineering aspects.
• Assist in risk assessment and risk control of medical devices.

Job description

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Responsible to Provide primarily execute & support directives set forth at production department.
2. Fully responsible for First Article Run till Approval, and take charge of preliminary production run lots. This includes plan, monitor and control projects from the receipt of orders through completion and getting project acceptance by customers.
3. Review / prepare, administer and implement Process Routes, Inspection Plans and other operational procedures in accordance to the project specifications, client's surveillance requirements, and enforce the same on Operations in their project execution. This includes designing of Jig and Fixtures which is required for the machining process, as well as development of CNC Program for executing the machining run of the products.
4. Communicate and co-ordinate with inter-departments and relevant parties pertaining to the technical requirements and engineering aspects of the assigned projects.
5. Provide expertise and advisory support to enable operations are effectively and responsibly execute, and consistently maintain, quality workmanship and conformance to design and project specifications, and good manufacturing / engineering practices.
6. Respond and resolve technical / quality issues of the production orders among inter-departments / customers.
7. Participate in the implementation of risk assessment and risk control of medical devices

Competence Requirement:-
