Job summary

FASSLER GOURMET PTE LTD is seeking a hands-on F&B Production Assistant Manager to oversee daily production operations and planning in Singapore. You will own production scheduling, inventory control, PAR level management, SKU costing updates, and drive production efficiency while coordinating with Procurement, Sales and Operations to meet cost and quality targets.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in food manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to plan and work under pressure

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and workplace safety practices preferred.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning based on sales, inventory, capacity and PAR targets.
• Monitor inventory to optimise stock levels and minimise wastage.
• Maintain and update SKU costings based on procurement changes and monitor margins.
• Coordinate production schedules, manpower and materials to meet orders and delivery requirements.
• Monitor yields, variances and costs and identify efficiency and profitability opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and production standards.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory and costing records and provide regular reports to management.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and commercially minded F&B Production Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day production operations and planning. Working closely with the Production Manager, the role will take ownership of production scheduling, inventory and PAR level management, SKU costings and production efficiency, while coordinating with Procurement, Sales and Operations to ensure products are produced on time, at the right cost and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production planning based on sales requirements, existing inventory, production capacity and target PAR levels
• Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory to optimise stock levels and minimise wastage
• Maintain and update SKU costings based on cost changes provided by Procurement, including ingredients, packaging and other production inputs, and monitor the impact on product margins.
• Coordinate production schedules, manpower and materials to meet order and delivery requirements
• Monitor production yields, variances and costs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and production standards
• Maintain accurate production, inventory and costing records and provide regular operational reports to management

About you
