Centaur Asia Pacific is seeking a technically skilled Product Support Executive with an Electrical Engineering background to support flagship partners across Asia Pacific. The role combines field and remote support, training, and hands-on diagnostics for irrigation, robotics, and sensor systems.

Based in Singapore, you will travel across Asia Pacific, including Malaysia, to install, commission, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in technical support, field service, or equipment installation.
• Experience with electrical systems, sensors, controllers, networking, or automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting and product support for irrigation controllers, robotics, sensors, and wireless networks.
• Diagnose electrical, communication, and system integration issues both remotely and on-site.
• Assist with commissioning and installation of equipment at customer locations.
• Deliver product training to superintendents, technicians, and facility managers.
• Develop clear documentation and troubleshooting guides for customers.
• Support new product rollouts and demonstrations across APAC.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to resolve technical issues and relay field feedback.

Role Overview

The Product Support Executive will provide technical support, product training, and field assistance to customers across Asia Pacific. This role requires strong electrical and technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and the willingness to travel to golf courses and sports venues to support installations, diagnostics, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide technical troubleshooting and product support for irrigation controllers, robotics systems, aeration equipment, and wireless sensor networks.
• Diagnose electrical, communication, and system integration issues both remotely and on-site.
• Assist with commissioning and installation of equipment at customer locations.

Customer Support & Training

• Deliver product training to superintendents, technicians, and facility managers.
• Provide after-sales technical support and ensure customers achieve optimal system performance.
• Develop clear documentation and troubleshooting guides for customers.

Product Implementation

• Support new product rollouts across the region.
• Assist sales teams during product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to resolve technical issues and relay field feedback.

Field Operations

• Conduct periodic site visits to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
• Support maintenance, upgrades, and system calibration where required.
• Collaborate with the office team on scheduling, documentation, logistics, and coordination of support activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related technical field.
• 2–5 years experience in technical support, field service engineering, or equipment installation.
• Experience with electrical systems, sensors, controllers, networking, or automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel across Asia Pacific.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with irrigation systems, robotics, IoT sensors, or environmental monitoring systems.
• Exposure to golf course or sports turf operations is an advantage but not required.
• Familiarity with wireless communication technologies, automation, or remote monitoring platforms.
