Our organization is investing heavily in transitioning our local media and streaming application into a unified, global platform architecture across all international markets. We are seeking a Product Operations Specialist to play a vital, hands‑on role in the end‑to‑end execution of this large‑scale platform migration.
Sitting at the intersection of local business units, global engineering teams, QA, and Product, you will ensure that regional feature requirements are protected, global platform gaps are closed, and migration bugs are aggressively resolved before reaching our subscribers. This role is for someone who brings rigorous structure to complex, fast‑moving environments and naturally drives cross‑functional alignment across multiple time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Migration & Gap Analysis
- Actively drive and support the end-to-end operational process of migrating the local legacy application to the unified global platform.
- Conduct detailed gap analyses comparing the local product footprint against the global application across all supported client ecosystems (including iOS, Android, Web, Connected TVs, and Set-Top Boxes).
- Proactively schedule, join, and align in meetings with remote global working groups and technical teams across different time zones to represent regional requirements.
- Collaborate deeply with relevant internal departments (Product, Marketing, Sales, Legal) and external partners to ensure business alignment throughout the transition phases.
Structured UAT & Issue Resolution
- Formulate, organize, and perform structured User Acceptance Testing (UAT) frameworks across staging and production environments to validate migration readiness.
- Review all reported bugs stemming from the migration, assess business impact, and take decisive action to prioritize them within the engineering backlog.
- Partner closely with the technical and QA teams to get priority bugs fixed efficiently.
- Verify technical fixes and explicitly deliver finalized solutions back to the original internal or external reporters, ensuring no loop is left open.
Product & Business Analysis
- Write clear, well‑structured user stories, migration requirements, and acceptance criteria that global engineering and QA teams can execute against without ambiguity.
- Utilize wireframing tools to review, map, and propose UX flow adjustments to align the global application design language with localized user needs.
- Maintain accurate, real‑time migration roadmaps, issue tracking, and launch runbooks in project management tools as the single source of truth.
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Analyze user and subscriber behavior data to surface insights that inform product decisions.
- Support data platform reporting and monitoring; maintain dashboards and flag anomalies early.
- Translate data findings into actionable recommendations to improve subscription conversion, revenue, UX stickiness, and reduce churn.
Coordination & Stakeholder Communication
- Proactively schedule and drive meetings; own follow‑up on action items and decisions.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation in Jira and Confluence as the single source of truth for product issues and decisions.
- Produce regular reporting on issue status, release readiness, and operational health for stakeholders.
- Act as a dependable communication bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–8 years in product operations, business analysis, QA, or a closely related digital product role.
- Hands‑on experience with Jira and Confluence for issue tracking and documentation.
- Familiarity with agile or iterative product development environments.
- Experience working across Android, iOS, Web, and TV platforms is a strong advantage.
- OTT, digital media, or subscription product experience is highly valued.
- Proven experience working comfortably with remote, highly distributed teams and cross‑border stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Strong grasp of UX principles; able to evaluate product flows critically and articulate improvements.
- Proficient in Figma or equivalent wireframing tools.
- Comfortable with data: able to query, interpret, and present behavioral or operational data meaningfully.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Highly organized; able to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies in parallel without dropping the ball.
- Persistent follow‑through: you close loops and do not let issues drift.
