Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a Product Manager to design and develop government-focused software applications. You’ll apply Agile practices, manage a product backlog, and collaborate with Product Owner, Tech Lead, BAs, UX designers, and engineers to deliver value.

You will define roadmaps, write user stories, and track bugs and releases, ensuring alignment with policies and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, Communications or related discipline.
• Willingness to improve workflows and assist team members; strong teamwork.
• Self-driven and eager to learn about project topics.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking to solve issues.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end agile software development (Scrum/Kanban).
• Understand business and technical perspectives of projects.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, Jira.
• Experience in ops-tech integration, AI/ML creation, SAAS platform management, UI/UX research strategy, go-to-market for software services preferred.
• Understanding of government-to-government relationships and public service policies.
• Proven experience defining and executing product strategies, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and products using appropriate Agile methodologies with iterative learning.
• Recommend scope of current and future product lines after reviewing specs.
• Bring new products to market by analysing requirements and development.
• Develop time-integrated plans with marketing and production for new products.
• Lead collaborative planning; prioritize work against team capacity.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
• Understand technical aspects and system capabilities/limitations.
• Share technical insights with internal or external audiences.
• Support Product Owner on grooming and backlog maintenance.
• Define roadmap and ensure user stories are created in JIRA/Confluence.
• Groom backlog and prioritize user stories, tasks, bugs for sprints.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Tech Lead, BAs, UXD, Engineers on releases.
• Track application bugs, assess impact/severity.
• Provide follow-up and support to resolve impediments.
• Bridge communication between business and technical teams; create documentation.
• Measure velocity, manage risks, identify important risks.
• Gather user feedback, analyze market trends, identify improvements and new features.
• Assist in government processes like procurement and project finance per policies.
