Job summary

Evolution Recruitment Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria within a Singapore Government Agile delivery context. You will document processes in JIRA/Confluence, run workshops, and collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams.

You will also design target-state journeys, validate outputs with AI tools, and support testing including UAT and regression.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Business Analysis experience, including government Agile delivery in a sprint-based environment.
• Experience documenting processes, target-state journeys, and translating requirements into user stories.
• Proficient with discovery/design sprints, JIRA, Confluence, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners on scope and sign-off.
• Experience engaging government users in regulatory or enforcement contexts.
• Intermediate SQL and hands-on test automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Familiar with AI tools for business analysis and validating generated outputs.
• Strong understanding of the Agile delivery lifecycle and UAT/ regression testing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, define common user journeys, and present functional designs to the Product Owner for sign-off.
• Review user journeys and UI designs to ensure alignment with business processes and operational needs.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test data, and sprint integration testing; manage defect triage and support UAT.
• Develop and maintain automated regression tests using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
• Use SQL to investigate data issues, including joins, aggregations, and audit history.
• Leverage AI tools to draft and review user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and UI prototypes, ensuring outputs meet business requirements.
• Plan sprint analysis and testing activities, coach the Product Analyst, and collaborate with product, engineering, testing, and business stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• At least 3 years of Business Analysis experience, including Singapore Government Agile delivery in a sprint-based environment.

• Experience with discovery/design sprints, JIRA, Confluence, and testable acceptance criteria.

• Experience working with Product Owners on scope, functional design, and acceptance sign-off.

• Experience engaging government users, preferably in regulatory or enforcement environments.

• Intermediate SQL skills and hands‑on test automation experience using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.

• Practical experience using AI tools for business analysis or functional design, with the ability to validate generated outputs.

• Strong understanding of the Agile delivery lifecycle, including functional design, integration testing, defect management, UAT, and regression testing.

• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to own both analysis and testing activities.

Desirable

• Familiarity with Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) or Singapore Government cloud platforms.

• Experience in enforcement, regulatory, licensing, or case management domains.
