Job summary

Evolution Recruitment Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Software QA professional to lead automated testing across squads in Singapore. You will own test plans, develop scenarios and acceptance criteria from user stories, and ensure end-to-end traceability.

Work with product, engineering and performance teams to build scalable automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, perform performance and regression testing, and present release-readiness recommendations at governance reviews.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Software QA experience including automation.
• Experience building automated test suites from scratch.
• Experience with test plans, scenarios, data, and metrics.
• Strong experience in API test automation and CI/CD integration.
• Proficient in JIRA for test management and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain release test plans covering stages, criteria, data, defects, and metrics.
• Develop test scenarios and acceptance criteria from user stories.
• Lead test automation strategy and expand suites from sprint 1.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and maintain regression suites.
• Execute system, regression, and integration tests within sprint timelines.
• Plan and conduct performance testing with the Performance Engineer and analyse results.
• Manage defect lifecycle, triage, root-cause classification, resolution and reporting.
• Prepare UAT artefacts and support business users during testing.
• Establish testing standards and review artefacts across squads.
• Use AI tools to generate test scenarios and validate outputs.
• Present results, risks and release-readiness at sprint reviews and governance meetings.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, development and performance teams to ensure quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain release Test Plans, covering test stages, entry/exit criteria, test data, defect management, and test metrics.
• Develop test scenarios, s, and expected results from user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring end-to-end traceability.
• Lead the test automation strategy and framework, building and expanding automated test suites from the first sprint.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain regression suites for each delivery increment.
• Execute system, regression, and integration testing within sprint timelines.
• Plan and conduct performance testing with the Performance Engineer, analyse results, and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including triage, root-cause classification, resolution tracking, and reporting.
• Prepare UAT test artefacts and support business users during test execution.
• Establish testing standards and review test artefacts across squads to ensure consistent quality and coverage.
• Use AI tools to generate test scenarios and s, validating coverage and accuracy before implementation.
• Present test results, outstanding defects, risks, and release-readiness recommendations at sprint reviews and governance meetings.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, development, and performance teams to ensure quality throughout delivery.

Key Requirements

• 4 years of Software QA experience, including experience in building and maintaining automated test suites from scratch.
• Experience developing and maintaining Test Plans, test scenarios, s, and test metrics.
• Hands-on automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with API test automation and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Performance testing experience using JMeter, Gatling, k6, or equivalent tools, including test execution and bottleneck analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation, backend verification, and migration reconciliation.
• Strong JIRA experience in test management, defect tracking, and requirements traceability.
• Proven ability to manage the full testing lifecycle, establish testing standards, and review test artefacts across multiple squads.
• Strong root-cause analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using AI tools for test generation, with the ability to validate and refine generated outputs.

Desirable

• Singapore Government project experience or familiarity with Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC).
• Experience in data migration testing and reconciliation.
• Exposure to enforcement, regulatory, licensing, or case management systems.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualifications.
