Job summary

UnlockLand, a Singapore-based AI technology company building software for land development and urban planning, seeks an Urban Planner who blends planning expertise with strong communication and product thinking. The Urban Planner will work with clients to understand requirements, develop practical planning solutions and support improvements to UnlockLand's products through analysis and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Academic or professional background in urban planning or related built-environment discipline.
• Hands-on experience with urban planning, master planning or pre-development projects.
• Strong ability to develop planning concepts and provide practical recommendations.
• Excellent written and spoken English; capable of leading client meetings and presentations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex planning concepts clearly.
• Experience creating planning proposals, reports or feasibility studies.
• Ability to work with product, design and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements related to urban planning and land development.
• Lead client meetings, workshops, and requirement discussions.
• Develop planning concepts, development scenarios, and site assessments.
• Review planning policies, zoning, and development controls.
• Prepare planning proposals, reports, and client-facing materials.
• Support delivery of client POCs from requirements to final delivery.
• Translate planning workflows into clear product requirements and user journeys.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to improve features.
• Test the platform from a planner's perspective and identify improvements.
• Gather and structure client feedback after demonstrations and delivery.
• Support product optimisation using real-world planning cases.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Represent UnlockLand professionally in meetings and events.
