Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our R&D team, supporting development of sustainable construction materials and innovative concrete products at Jurong Port. You will lead the full product development cycle from lab research to production trials, testing, validation and commercial implementation, with travel to project sites as needed.

This hands-on role offers exposure to collaboration with government agencies, universities and industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/chemical engineering or materials science.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, concrete, materials or labs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D activities for sustainable construction materials and products.
• Develop and optimise concrete mixes using recycled, sustainable and alternative materials.
• Plan and conduct laboratory, pilot-scale and production trials.
• Perform testing and evaluate material and product performance.
• Analyse test results and recommend improvements to formulations and processes.
• Ensure products comply with relevant standards, specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Support the scale-up of successful R&D projects into commercial production.
• Work with production and technical teams to resolve development and testing issues.
• Collaborate with government agencies, universities, research institutions and industry partners.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: Basic S$4,500-S$5,000 + Bonus + AWS
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm; Saturday, 9:00am-1:00pm
Location: Jurong Port, Singapore
Working Days: 5.5 days

You will be involved in the full product development cycle - from laboratory research and concrete formulation to production trials, testing, validation and commercial implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D activities for sustainable construction materials and products.

Requirements

• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
