Job summary

Binance Singapore is seeking a seasoned in-house lawyer to act as primary legal counsel for designated product verticals, guiding end-to-end governance from development through launch. You will draft user terms and commercial agreements to regulated standards, balancing legal risk with business objectives across jurisdictions.

You will partner with product, compliance, and risk teams to anticipate issues, improve documentation quality, and support global legal projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials.
• 6–10 years post-qualification experience in financial services, technology, or top-tier law firms.
• Experience drafting complex financial or technology product terms and user documentation.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to digital assets (ADGM/FSRA, ESMA, FCA, MAS) is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional APAC or Middle East languages a plus.

• Contribute to knowledge-sharing and mentorship within the Product Legal team, helping to build resilience.

• Act as primary legal counsel for designated product verticals (at least two), providing end-to-end legal support from product development through to launch and ongoing governance.
• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of product documentation, user terms, and commercial agreements to regulated-grade standards.
• Provide clear, business-oriented legal advice on product structuring, innovation, and regulatory considerations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with product managers, business leads, compliance, and risk teams to anticipate legal issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Enhance the quality and consistency of legal documentation, ensuring enforceability and alignment with best practices in global financial markets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials, admitted in a leading common law or civil law jurisdiction.
• 6-10 years’ post-qualification experience in financial services, technology, or a top-tier law firm, with a focus on margin lending, derivatives, trading, structured products, or fintech/crypto.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex financial or technology product terms and user-facing documentation.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to digital assets (experience with ADGM/FSRA, ESMA, FCA, MAS, or equivalent regulators is a strong advantage). Commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (especially relevant to APAC or Middle East) are a plus to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work.
• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures, with strong collaboration skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to operate with a high degree of independence.
