BitGo, a leading digital asset infrastructure provider, invites a strategic Associate General Counsel for APAC to join the Singapore office. You will oversee legal and regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions, guiding growth while ensuring compliance.

You will manage a regional team, mitigate cross-border risks, and advise leadership on commercial ventures. This onsite role offers a competitive package and stock options.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified lawyer in Singapore or another major common law jurisdiction.
• Minimum 12 years of in-house regional leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of APAC regulatory environments across Southeast Asia, Australia and Greater China.
• Proven ability to manage distributed legal teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Outstanding commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

We are looking for a strategic and seasoned legal leader to join us as Associate General Counsel for the APAC region based in Singapore. In this executive capacity you will oversee all legal and regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions in Asia Pacific providing indispensable counsel to regional leadership. You will manage a growing regional team mitigate complex cross-border risks and ensure our commercial operations scale efficiently within highly diverse regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and execute the regional legal strategy aligned with overarching global business objectives.

Serve as the primary legal advisor to the APAC leadership team on high-stakes commercial ventures and regional expansions.

Oversee corporate governance regulatory compliance and government relations across all APAC markets.

Guide the regional team through complex multijurisdictional regulatory landscapes including data privacy and financial frameworks.

Manage disputes employment matters and corporate transactions within the region alongside external counsel.

Recruit mentor and develop a high-performing team of legal professionals across regional hubs.

Experience and Qualifications

Professionally qualified lawyer in Singapore or another major common law jurisdiction with exceptional academic credentials.

Minimum of twelve years of experience with significant time spent leading regional matters in‑house.

Deep knowledge of the legal and regulatory environments across key APAC markets such as Southeast Asia, Australia and Greater China.

Proven track record of managing distributed legal teams and navigating complex multijurisdictional challenges successfully.

Outstanding commercial acumen with an ability to balance strict legal compliance against fast-paced business growth.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills necessary to bridge regional operations with global headquarters.
