Qualifications

• Some experience in ordering processing / purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy; follow up on discrepancies with the initiating party/user.
• Identify vendors for requested items, including prices, availability and delivery.
• Review quotations and check prices against past records.
• Update price lists when necessary.
• Create new items in SAP.
• Assist with vendor onboarding (email creation for SAP account).
• Assist with EHS assessment for new vendors (if required).
• Communicate and negotiate with vendors for improved terms, including price reductions.
• Process requisitions into purchase orders in SAP and manage change orders within 24 hours after final confirmation.
• Ensure all purchase orders are approved by the appropriate authority daily.
• Send approved purchase orders to vendors and requesting users.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery or expedite as needed.
• Respond to stakeholders' inquiries about order status, changes or cancellations.
• Perform quarterly stock take.
• Backup team members on planned/unplanned leave.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties.
