Job summary

Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) in Singapore seeks a Procurement Officer to support divisions on procurement matters and ensure compliance with policies. You will manage procurement operations, review requests, and provide guidance while helping improve processes and materials for staff education.

The role also involves preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports, supporting internal and external audits, and contributing to projects such as procurement bots and system migration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in a public agency
• Knowledge of Government Instruction Manual on Procurement and GeBIZ system; Workday preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Good writing and communication skills
• Organised, meticulous with good reasoning, proactive in follow-up to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and collaboratively and commit to the full duration of the contract. CSP profile may be included in resume.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement operations: review submissions, process purchase requests, perform periodic checks on simple purchases, advise divisions on procurement policies and procedures for compliance.
• Support policies and processes for improvement; develop internal education materials to raise awareness of procurement guidelines.
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports for internal and external reporting.
• Support audit exercises (internal and financial audits).
• Support projects and initiatives, such as maintenance of procurement bots and system migration activities.
