Job summary

ENGIE Southeast Asia in Singapore seeks a procurement professional for an 18-month contract. You will source, review terms, negotiate with suppliers, and manage vendor qualification to ensure best value on construction projects.

You will lead procurement planning, develop governance policies, oversee tender processes, and ensure adherence to HSE and information security requirements. Strong negotiation and ERP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant procurement experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy, or project-based environments preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement and tendering processes.
• Ability to perform cost analysis and commercial evaluations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement databases.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, comparison and review of terms and conditions, quotations and quality of materials or services rendered by subcontractors.
• Provide cost estimate for construction related projects.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers.
• Perform vendor assessment and qualification.
• Executes project procurement plan to ensure orders are procured at best value in a timely and accurate manner.
• Creation of new vendors.
• Perform Due Diligence checks on major/preferred vendors.
• Develop and Implement Supply Chain Strategy & Governance Policy.
• Lead all supply chain activities.
• Optimize & control procurement-related procedures & databases; ERP reporting.
• Carry out surveillance of procurement activities to ensure compliance with control procedures.
• Lead team to prepare tender documents, manage tender process and evaluate tenders.
• Ensure compliance with HSE/CRS/information security related policies.
