Job summary

HERAEUS MATERIALS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. invites an intern to support the Procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and process improvement.

The role covers operational procurement activities and participation in strategic projects involving raw material sourcing, SAP data maintenance, and digitalization initiatives. The intern will contribute to ongoing procurement projects, assist with portal improvements, and gain exposure to Signavio workflows and data-driven procurement

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor in SCM, Business Admin, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Basic knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes.
• SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Signavio or process-mapping tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate raw material specifications, demand, and supplier information.
• Build sourcing database for recycled raw materials and suppliers.
• Support PO creation and low-value RFQ activities.
• Support procurement projects - e.g. auto PR/PO, sourcing, PN creation for spool (new and recycled).
• Procurement process improvement - e.g. Procurement portal, process documentation using Signavio, other improvements.
• Maintain supplier lead-time data and update SAP master data.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consolidate raw material specifications, demand, and supplier information.

• Support Procurement projects - eg auto PR/PO, sourcing, PN creation for spool (new and recycled) etc


• Procurement process improvement - eg Procurement portal, process documentation using Signavio, other process improvement initiatives.


• Maintain supplier lead-time data and update SAP master data.

Job Requirement:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics and any other related fields


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
