Job summary

Seatrium Ltd in Singapore is seeking a results-oriented Procurement Specialist to source materials, equipment, and services for drilling, production, and maintenance projects.

You will collaborate with engineering, projects, and operations to understand needs, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and manage supplier data and orders while upholding HSE standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/related discipline required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing equipment contracts (topsides) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services for projects and operations.
• Liaise with engineering, projects, and operations to understand procurement needs.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and conduct bid evaluations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to optimise costs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, HSE regulations and company policies.
• Maintain vendor databases and procurement records.
• Track and expedite orders to meet project timelines.
• Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation in the supply chain.
• Prepare procurement reports for management.
• Knowledge of SAP and Oracle procurement tools.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for projects, operations, including drilling, production, maintenance, and engineering projects.
• Liaise with internal teams (engineering, projects, operations) to understand procurement needs and specifications.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and conduct technical and commercial evaluations of bids.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimise costs and performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement records.
• Track and expedite orders to meet project timelines and minimize downtime.
• Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation related to the supply chain.
• Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management review.
• Knowledge of procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Preferably Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Process/Marine Offshore/Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in managing contracts for equipment, especially topside, will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5.15pm
