Job summary

CAIXIMGOGREEN PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage sourcing operations, raw material procurement, supplier relationships, and PO execution to ensure continuous manufacturing.

You will monitor market trends, implement cost-saving measures, ensure compliance with national safety standards and SCDF/NEA regulations, and maintain accurate material data in the ERP system, collaborating with warehouse and production teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years procurement/strategic sourcing experience in chemical processing, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong MS Excel for spend analytics.
• Familiarity with Incoterms, import customs clearance, and shipping documentation for hazardous or regulated chemical goods.

Responsibilities

• Direct & Indirect Sourcing: source, evaluate, and procure raw chemical materials, packaging supplies, plant machinery, spare parts, and indirect services.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: build relationships with local and overseas suppliers; evaluate vendor performance on cost, quality, lead time and compliance.
• PO Execution: process requisitions, issue POs, negotiate terms, and track orders to avoid downtime.
• Cost Management & Market Analysis: monitor market trends, analyze procurement spend and drive cost savings.
• Regulatory & Quality Compliance: ensure materials meet safety standards and SDS/COA verification.
• Inventory & ERP: coordinate with warehouse/production to optimize inventory and maintain material masters.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Executive to manage our sourcing operations, raw material procurement, and supplier relationships to support our manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct & Indirect Sourcing: Source, evaluate, and procure raw chemical materials, packaging supplies, plant machinery, spare parts, and indirect services at competitive prices.

• Supplier & Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers; conduct regular vendor performance evaluations based on cost, quality, lead time, and compliance.

• Purchase Order (PO) Execution: Process purchase requisitions, issue POs, negotiate commercial terms (Incoterms, payment terms), and track order fulfillments to ensure zero downtime for manufacturing lines.

• Cost Management & Market Analysis: Monitor market trends for chemical raw material prices, analyze procurement spends, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure procured chemical materials comply with national safety standards, Singapore SCDF/NEA regulations, and company quality specifications (e.g., SDS documentation, COA verification).

• Inventory & ERP System Maintenance: Work closely with the warehouse and plant production teams to optimize inventory buffer levels and maintain accurate material masters in the ERP system.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.

• Experience: 3-5 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, ideally within chemical processing, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.

• Technical Skills: Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and strong proficiency in MS Excel for spend analytics.

• Commercial Knowledge: Familiarity with international trade terms (Incoterms), import customs clearance, and shipping documentation for hazardous or regulated chemical goods.

• Soft Skills: Sharp negotiation skills, strong numerical acumen, and clear cross-functional communication abilities.
