Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure best value in terms of price, quality, and service.
• Select vendors based on technical, commercial, and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes and act as an ambassador of procurement excellence.
• Promote automation, digitalization, and best practices across all procurement activities.
• Serve as the main RFQ contact for assigned business units and manage RFQ process from initiation to award.

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Industrial Buyer to support our procurement operations in Jurong. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure best value in terms of price, quality, and service.

• Facilitate RFQ planning and resolve roadblocks proactively.

Data-Driven Improvement & Strategy Execution

• Collect and analyze site data to support the development of category-specific strategies.
• Gain alignment from decision-makers and leverage volumes for optimal outcomes.
• Set and monitor KPIs to track procurement performance and value creation (GASP).

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support change initiatives and ensure buy-in for new procurement processes.
• Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders and provide solutions to procurement challenges.

Requirements:
