Job summary

Soitec in Singapore is seeking a procurement professional to manage production tool purchases, maintain Oracle ERP data, and monitor KPIs. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, control safety stocks, and keep stakeholders informed on order status.

The role includes negotiating long-term contracts, identifying new vendors, handling capex purchases, and driving end-to-end procurement improvements across the supplier base.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain management or engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing procurement.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
• Experience sourcing equipment, spares, consumables, or process kits in semiconductors.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Oracle Procure-to-Pay.
• Strong communication and teamwork to coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide operation support for production tool requirement purchases.
• Maintain and update procurement data in Oracle ERP (suppliers, part numbers, quotations).
• Maintain procurement KPIs and report insights.
• Participate in daily/weekly cross-functional meetings to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Manage safety stocks to prevent out-of-stock in chemical supply and minimize SLOB.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders on order status and production priorities.
• Lead process improvements to strengthen supplier relationship management and cost control.
• Prepare data for supplier audits and ensure data integrity.
• Monitor market trends affecting material/services availability and pricing.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new vendors meeting business needs.
• Assist in negotiating capex purchases with contractual and lifecycle ownership considerations.
• Negotiate long-term supplier contracts.
• Explore brown/green energy procurement options.

What does the job consist?

• Responsible for Operation support to the production toolrequirement purchase
• Maintain and update all Procurement Data into Oracle ERP(such as Suppliers files, PN, Quotation…)
• Maintain and update procurement KPIs
• Participate in daily and weekly cross functional meeting tosupport seamless execution in deliverables.
• Safety stocks management to ensure zero OOS in chemicalsupply , minimizing SLOBs and write-off.
• Regular communication with internal and externalstakeholders to provide most up to date information on the statusof orders and to understand production priorities
• Execute process improvement initiatives to improve supplierrelationship management and to better manage costs
• Data integrity check/preparation for audits
• Monitor market dynamics and identify marketplace trends thatimpact material/services availability and pricing
• Identify, evaluate and recommend new vendors that meet the business requirements based on the selection and qualificationprocess
• Assist in negotiation for capex purchases focusing on contractual details and life-cycle ownership
• Contract negotiation for long term agreements with suppliers.
• Brown / green energy procurement.

Requirements & qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management with at least 5 yearworking experience or Engineers with 5 years’ relevant experiencewithin manufacturing industry, preferably experience in handlingchemical sourcing and procurement
• Knowledge on Procurement Process and best practices
• Experience in sourcing & procurement for both semiconductorequipment, spares & consumable, Process Kits will be advantageous
• Knowledge about IT Procurement
• Quartz process kit purchase & sourcing
• Manage production equipment service contract
• Experience in Semiconductor industry
• Team player with good collaboration skills
• Well Versed with end to end procurement process (Sourcing toaward)
• Knowledge on ERP (Procure to Pay module) (Oracle ERP highlydesirable)
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to deliver objectives according to defined schedules andconditions
