Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. is a marine electrical supplier based in Jurong seeking a sourcing specialist to support the Sales team with supplier selection and cost optimization.

You will obtain quotations, compare terms, and coordinate samples while maintaining supplier records. The role requires 1–2 years in sourcing and Mandarin-English bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or a related role is preferred.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English to liaise with Mandarin speaking vendors.

Responsibilities

• Handle product sourcing requests from the Sales team and identify suitable suppliers/products.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations, pricing, MOQ, lead times, quality and terms.
• Clarify product requirements and coordinate samples, specifications and other information.
• Source alternative suppliers/products and provide cost-effective recommendations to Sales.
• Maintain supplier and sourcing records, follow up on enquiries, and perform related administrative duties.
