Job summary

Ambition is seeking a highly motivated Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement, sourcing and logistics operations within a dynamic healthcare company. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, governance, supplier management and ensuring an uninterrupted supply of goods and services.

You will build and coach procurement and logistics teams, guide tender processes, manage contracts end-to-end, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement and Logistics operations within a dynamic healthcare company. This role is responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives, strengthening procurement governance, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the uninterrupted supply of goods and services to support the company’s operations.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement and logistics teams to achieve departmental objectives and service excellence.
• Provide guidance and support in the execution of tenders, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that drive value, optimize costs, and support organizational goals.
• Ensure procurement policies, processes, and guidelines are effectively implemented and remain aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Promote procurement best practices while maintaining an appropriate balance between governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are met and policies are clearly understood and adhered to.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
• Proactively manage supplier performance and resolve supply, quality, and contractual issues in a timely manner.

Logistics Management

• Lead and develop logistics capabilities across the Supply Chain operations.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain domain.

Contract & Process Management

• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, ensuring timely review, renewal, and execution of contracts.
• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
