Job summary

United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) in Singapore seeks a Process Integration Engineer to support customer product introductions into the FAB and drive pilot/tape-out success. The role focuses on improving yield, stabilizing inline, WAT, and CP results, and defining SOPs for production.

You will collaborate with module engineers to resolve yield and reliability issues, and develop tailored process flows to meet customer needs in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Physics or Materials Science required.
  • Academic background in semiconductor devices or wafer fabrication is preferred.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
  • Prior exposure to foundry environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support new customer product introduction into the FAB, ensuring smooth pilot and tape-out processes.
  • Improve yield and ensure stability in in-line, wafer acceptance test (WAT), and chip probe (CP) results.
  • Define and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production.
  • Collaborate with module engineers to resolve production issues related to yield and reliability.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop customized process flows that meet customer needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support new customer product introduction into the FAB, ensuring smooth pilot and tape-out processes.
