Our client is seeking a motivated and talented Process Improvement Engineer with Software Building experience to join their Manufacturing Engineering team. This role focuses on developing and enhancing manufacturing software solutions that support production operations, takt time and capacity planning, process optimization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software applications that improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary depending on the assigned specialization and may include:
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of manufacturing software applications, MES, production monitoring systems, dashboards, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to gather business requirements and translate them into software solutions that support manufacturing operations.
- Define, monitor, and optimize takt time based on customer demand and production targets, leveraging digital tools and real-time production data.
- Conduct capacity planning and analysis to identify resource constraints, optimize manpower and equipment utilization, and improve production throughput.
- Analyze manufacturing and system data to develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs that support operational performance, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and digital transformation initiatives using methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, and 5S, integrating software solutions to eliminate waste and improve workflow.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring manufacturing systems, software applications, production processes, and capacity requirements are fully aligned and operationally ready.
- Train and support end users on manufacturing software systems, standardized digital workflows, lean principles, and best practices to drive user adoption and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, SQL, or similar, with experience in database management and system integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
