Job summary

Align Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer with software building experience to join the Manufacturing Engineering team in Singapore. The role involves developing and enhancing manufacturing software solutions that support production operations, takt time and capacity planning, process optimization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software applications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in software-related field.
2–5 years of software development experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Proficient in C#, .NET, Python, SQL, or similar; experience with integration.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of manufacturing software applications, MES, dashboards, and automation solutions to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, QA, and Supply Chain to translate requirements into software.
Define, monitor and optimize takt time using digital tools and real-time data.
Conduct capacity planning to optimize resources and throughput.
Develop dashboards and KPIs to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Lead Lean and digital transformation initiatives (VSM, Kaizen, 5S) integrating software solutions.
