Job summary

INGRASYS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team of Process Application Engineers and Technicians in a busy manufacturing site in Singapore.

You will drive process-related functions, coordinate with HQ and factory teams, and ensure smooth production operations. The role requires a degree or diploma in Engineering with 3+ years in manufacturing, strong collaboration, problem-solving, independent work, project management, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Process Application Engineers and Technicians to drive process-related functions and production operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize process operation flows per customer requirements and business objectives.
• Oversee and maintain production work instructions (W/I), including SFC control processes and SAP process maintenance.
• Lead ECO implementation ensuring effective execution with minimal disruption.
• Champion process efficiency initiatives through continuous improvement projects, UPH monitoring, and Kaizen activities.
• Manage and update the EC master list with accurate documentation and timely tracking.
• Prepare, review and update Work Instructions to ensure compliance with standards.
• Deliver training sessions on Work Instructions to production teams to build competency.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for seamless process integration into production.
• Provide hands-on support during mass production runs to resolve issues and maintain output quality.
• Actively participate in ISO-related activities, ensuring effective implementation, compliance, and maintenance.

Work Days: Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Process Application Engineers and Technicians to drive all process-related functions, ensuring smooth and efficient production operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to establish and optimize process operation flows aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Oversee and maintain production work instructions (W/I), including SFC control processes and SAP process maintenance.
• Lead operations teams in the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO), ensuring effective execution and minimal disruption.
• Champion process efficiency initiatives through continuous improvement projects, UPH (Units per Hour) monitoring, and Kaizen activities.
• Manage and update the Engineering Change (EC) master list, ensuring accurate documentation and timely tracking.
• Prepare, review, and update Work Instructions, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
• Deliver training sessions on Work Instructions to production teams to build competency and adherence.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring seamless process integration into production.
• Provide hands‑on support during mass production runs to resolve issues and maintain output quality.
• Actively participate in ISO-related activities, ensuring effective implementation, compliance, and ongoing maintenance.

Key Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with customers, HQ/factory, peers, subordinates, and superiors.
• Proven problem‑solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
