Job summary

HSBC Singapore invites a seasoned professional to join the GCOO as a Project and Programme Management lead. You will help drive the COO transformation across Asia and the Middle East, delivering measurable process improvements and sustainable change.

You will translate strategy into prioritized programmes, map end-to-end processes, deploy process mining tools, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver value at scale. HSBC supports development and inclusive growth.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years' experience in process excellence or business transformation.
• Proven end-to-end process redesign experience from diagnostics to adoption.
• Lean/Six Sigma expertise; Green/Black Belt advantageous.
• Familiarity with process mining tooling (Celonis, UiPath) and Python.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with senior leaders.
• Degree-level education; MBA or professional process qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Process Excellence pillar agenda, translating the COO transformation strategy into a prioritised, sequenced programme of process improvement initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end process mapping and diagnostics across COO-managed workflows, quantifying inefficiencies, duplication, rework, and handoff delays.
• Design and implement simplified target-state processes, ensuring changes are embedded and sustained through updated procedures, controls, and training.
• Build and manage a pipeline of simplification initiatives, tracking throughput improvements, cycle-time reduction, and capacity release outcomes against agreed targets.
• Oversee deployment of process mining tooling, using data-driven insights to surface improvement opportunities at scale.
• Partner with IWPB Business Managers, Transformation Leads, and CIB Division COOs to align simplification priorities with business demand, capacity constraints, and dependencies.
• Set practice standards and develop capability for the Process Excellence Business Analyst, ensuring consistent methodology and high-quality analytical output.
• Represent the Simplify & Rewire pillar in senior COO/CEO governance forums, providing concise, delivery-grounded updates on progress, risks, decisions required, and outcomes.
