Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Process Engineer to evaluate processes, optimize plastics compounding, and implement best practices across production lines. The role emphasizes cost reduction, sustainability, and lean initiatives.

The candidate will drive process improvements, conduct trials, and collaborate with manufacturing and technology teams to scale up new processes and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Polymers/Materials/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• 6-Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience driving continuous improvement (RCA, lean tools).

Responsibilities

• Monitor existing production process and address problem-prone products.
• Establish processing conditions and improve efficiency for plastics compounding.
• Develop new production process methods for applications and formulations.
• Resolve production issues by coordinating with Manufacturing and Technology.
• Conduct plant trials to qualify new processes and scale up to production.
• Lead lean initiatives (5S, value stream mapping, visual management) to reduce waste and costs.
• Improve production quality and support plant-wide quality efforts.
• Set work goals and performance standards to reduce rejects and downtime.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on new product transfer from other plants.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
