Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Plating Production & Process Engineer in Singapore to lead electroplating process development and production support for new and existing products. You will drive manufacturing activities to meet targets for quality, cost, and delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on capability, PFMEA knowledge, and the ability to lead a team through continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of reel-to-reel electroplating experience.
• Knowledge of PFMEA and chemical safety practices.
• Hands-on ability to develop and optimise products, processes and equipment.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Plating Technicians and Operators to meet daily production schedules, quality standards and departmental objectives.
• Develop, optimise and continuously improve electroplating processes and equipment capabilities to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plating process, chemical, equipment and product-quality issues.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives through process optimisation and waste reduction.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor preventive maintenance for plating equipment and production lines.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing data in the MFG/PRO system.
• Manage procurement and inventory of spare parts for manufacturing activities.
