Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking a capable Manufacturing Process Engineer to own and optimize wafer fabrication processes. You will provide engineering support to the production line and drive quality, yield, and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cost-effective wafer fabrication process with engineering support to the production line.
• Take full ownership of all engineering issues on the assigned process.
• Maintain day-to-day manufacturing activities with real-time problem analysis and solutions.
• Ensure smooth process flow with high quality, high yield, and low cost with cross-functional teams.
• Establish robust process control for Si & SiC to minimize WAR and improve SPC & FDC.

Our technology starts with you.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESManage a cost-effective manufacturing process procedure in wafer fabrication, through the provision of engineering support to the production line, so as to achieve organization's targeted manufacturing index.Take full ownership on all engineering issues of assigned process.Maintain and support day to day manufacturing activities through real-time problem analysis and real-time solution implementation.Ensure smooth process flow with high quality, high yield, low cost by working with the Maintenance Specialists, Production Supervisors and Shift Engineers to achieve overall committed targets.Maintain, manage & improve department quality key performance index (wafer scrap, defectivity, SPC, FDC, non-conformance lot, excursion etc.)Establish robust process control system for Si & SiC to maintain the lowest Wafer At Risk (WAR) level, highest signal to noise ratio on SPC & FDC, and minimize human dependency.Implement Best Known Method (BKM) for overall quality control system through benchmarking.Participate with the local team in selected projects or activities such as cost reduction, process robustness, quality improvement, cycle time improvement.YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCESBachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering .Fresh Graduates are welcome to applyGood problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations related to dose concentration, angle, and air pressure .Self-initiated, proactive, and able to communicate clearly.Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
