Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced process engineer to manage development and transfer of advanced technologies from R&D to manufacturing. You will set up SPC and FDC, qualify equipment, and validate process specifications while supporting shift teams to maintain uptime and drive productivity.

The role requires strong problem-solving, data analysis, and DOE skills, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and to handle rotating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical & Electronics or related fields (Mechatronics, Physics/Applied Physics, Material Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering).
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis and DOE skills with experience in manufacturing.
• Fluent business English and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and transfer of new and advanced technologies from R&D to manufacturing.
• Set up and monitor SPC and FDC for processes.
• Perform and validate equipment qualification and setup process specifications.
• Characterize processes and equipment to maintain and control process parameters.
• Provide support to shift personnel to maintain equipment uptime and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and equipment malfunctions to improve quality and productivity.
• Lead Fab Improvement Team projects to improve process capabilities, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Improve manufacturing yield and quality.

YOUR ROLE

• Manage development and process transfer of new & advanced technologies from R&D to manufacturing.
• Set up and monitor SPC & FDC for processes.
• Perform & validate equipment qualification and setup process specification.
• Perform and characterize process and equipment system to maintain and control process parameters.
• Provide support for shift personnel in maintaining equipment uptime & efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process deviation and equipment malfunctions to improve process quality and productivity.
• Perform wafer dispositions in a timely manner.
• Implement preventive actions to eradicate quality issues.
• Lead a Fab Improvement Team projects to improve the process capabilities, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Implement projects to improve process robustness, stability & Cpk.
• Improve manufacturing yield and quality.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor's/ master's degree in Electrical & Electronics. Mechatronics, Physics/ Applied Physics, Material Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering studies.
• Preferably with relevant working experience in wafer fab industry.
• Ability to work in a cross functional team.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts if required.
• Technical skills including problem-solving, statistical data analysis and design of experiment (eg. FMEA, 8D, DOE).
• English business proficiency.
