Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking qualified engineers to manage development and transfer of advanced technologies from R&D to manufacturing. You will set up SPC/FDC, qualify equipment, and optimize processes to boost yield and quality.

A background in wafer fab, DOE, FMEA, and cross-functional collaboration is essential. You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting shifts and driving continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical & Electronics or related engineering.
• Experience in wafer fab environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and process transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
• Set up and monitor SPC and FDC for processes.
• Qualification and setup of equipment; define process specs.
• Maintain process parameters and equipment performance.
• Support shift personnel to maintain uptime and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot deviations and malfunctions to improve quality.
• Perform wafer dispositions in a timely manner.
• Lead Fab Improvement Team projects to boost capabilities and cost efficiency.
• Improve process robustness, stability, and Cpk.
• Improve manufacturing yield and quality.

YOUR ROLE

• Manage development and process transfer of new & advanced technologies from R&D to manufacturing.
• Set up and monitor SPC & FDC for processes.
• Perform & validate equipment qualification and setup process specification.
• Perform and characterize process and equipment system to maintain and control process parameters.
• Provide support for shift personnel in maintaining equipment uptime & efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process deviation and equipment malfunctions to improve process quality and productivity.
• Perform wafer dispositions in a timely manner.
• Implement preventive actions to eradicate quality issues.
• Lead a Fab Improvement Team projects to improve the process capabilities, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Implement projects to improve process robustness, stability & Cpk.
• Improve manufacturing yield and quality.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor's/ master's degree in Electrical & Electronics. Mechatronics, Physics/ Applied Physics, Material Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering studies.
• Preferably with relevant working experience in wafer fab industry.
• Ability to work in a cross functional team.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts if required.
• Technical skills including problem-solving, statistical data analysis and design of experiment (eg. FMEA, 8D, DOE).
• English business proficiency.
