Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Process Engineer to design and evaluate processes for Oil & Gas and LNG projects. You will develop and review PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs, and perform heat and material balance calculations.

You will run process simulations using Aspen HYSYS or Aspen Plus, preparing datasheets and ensuring compliance with codes and project specs. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver safe, efficient systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience as a Process Engineer in Oil & Gas or LNG projects preferred.
• Proficient in process system design, simulations, and heat and material balance calculations.
• Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs.
• Familiar with international codes and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS or Aspen Plus or equivalent software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering design and calculations for Oil & Gas and LNG projects.
• Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs).
• Conduct process simulations and prepare heat and material balance calculations.
• Develop, review, and maintain Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Prepare process equipment datasheets and instrument datasheets.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Support technical reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience as a Process Engineer in Oil & Gas and/or LNG projects.
• Experience in process system design, process simulations, and heat and material balance calculations.
• Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with international engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience preparing process equipment and instrumentation datasheets.
• Proficiency in process engineering software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent.
