Job summary

KELLOGG BROWN & ROOT ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior Process Engineer to lead LNG terminal design activities, performing process simulations, heat and material balances, and FEED tasks.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, at least 12 years of design experience in hydrocarbon projects, and deep knowledge of P&IDs, process design philosophies, and applicable international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Strong LNG or LNG terminal project experience.
• Experience leading process teams for hydrocarbon projects.
• Solid knowledge of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs.
• Lead/Area Lead engineer experience preferred.
• Familiar with international codes, standards, and common software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering and design including configuration and optimization studies.
• Work on LNG regassification projects in FEED or Detailed Engineering.
• Perform process simulations and prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance, and Utility Balances
• Create P&IDs
• Prepare datasheets for process equipment and instruments
• Conduct relief and blowdown studies, analyze relief load scenarios and calculate flare network requirements
• Perform process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics
• Create Process design philosophies and operating guides
• Collaborate on Concept Studies, Front- End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design projects

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct Process engineering and design, including process configuration and optimization studies
• Worked in at least one LNG regassification project in FEED or Detailed Engineering phase.
• Perform Process simulations, prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance, and Utility Balances

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
• At least 12 years of relevant engineering design experience
• Good experience with LNG or LNG terminal projects. Experience on Energy transition projects will be an advantage
• Leadership experience in managing process teams for Hydrocarbon projects
• In-depth understanding of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs
• Preference will be given to candidates with Lead / Area Lead Engineer experience
• Familiarity with international codes and standards, software and tools
