Job summary

TEL Singapore is looking for an aspiring Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The selected candidate will apply engineering principles to improve operational processes, address process-related challenges, and create work instructions.

The role requires a degree in Chemical or Materials Science Engineering. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, be meticulous, and able to work independently in a cleanroom environment. Experience in process development and project management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Materials Science Engineering or its equivalent is mandatory.
• Experience in process development is a plus.
• Project management experience is advantageous.

We are seeking an aspiring Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to optimize operational processes, troubleshoot process‑related issues and develop work instructions for managing out‑of‑control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers’ engineers on the development of process.
• Develop new or modified process formulations, define processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and review processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.
• Coordinate design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods.
• Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
• Develop and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.
• Work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to troubleshoot processes and integration problems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Materials Science Engineering or its equivalent.
• Some relevant experience in the development of process is a plus.
• Experience in Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, organized and resourceful team player.
• Highly motivated individual who works independently with minimal supervision.
• Work within a cleanroom environment.
