Job summary

Triton AI Pte Ltd on Jurong Island is seeking a process engineer to support daily manufacturing operations, optimize production processes, and contribute to plant improvement projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to process optimisation, production troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background with 1–2 years of related experience, knowledge of process safety and continuous improvement methodologies, and a proactive approach

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant process engineering experience in chemical manufacturing or petrochemicals.
• Exposure to process safety, risk assessments or HAZOP concepts.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency and quality.
• Monitor, evaluate and optimize processes to boost productivity and plant capacity.
• Identify bottlenecks, investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
• Participate in projects focusing on energy efficiency, capacity, and reliability.
• Support safety, quality and regulatory compliance with SOPs and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS and Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to capacity planning and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency, product quality and achievement of operational targets.
• Monitor, evaluate and optimise manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, plant capacity and overall operational performance.
• Identify production bottlenecks, investigate process abnormalities and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyse production data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction and continuous improvement.
• Participate in engineering projects, process modifications and plant improvement initiatives, focusing on energy efficiency, capacity enhancement and operational reliability.
• Support process safety, quality and regulatory compliance through risk assessments, operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS and Quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable improvement solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, track process improvement initiatives and contribute to production capacity planning and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant process engineering experience within the chemical manufacturing or petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge of process safety principles, risk assessments, HAZOP or related methodologies.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
• Knowledge of SAP or other manufacturing management systems would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement practical process improvements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
