Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager for Private Banking Operations. The role oversees end-to-end operational processes including trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, and payments, with a focus on controls, risk management, and process improvements.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in Private Banking operations, Avaloq experience, and proficiency in English and Chinese. Supervisory capability is preferred; the team is based in Singapore and reports to the head of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in banking operations, preferably Private Banking/Wealth Management.
• Experience with Avaloq platform and SWIFT Alliance is advantageous.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to supervise/guide junior team members and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end operational processes in Private Banking, including settlements, reconciliations, remittances, payments, and corporate actions.
• Coordinate with front/middle offices, compliance, finance, custodians, brokers, and head office teams.
• Manage trade and settlement cycles, investigate discrepancies, and ensure control standards are met.
• Participate in system enhancements, UAT, and process improvements; ensure regulatory compliance and risk controls.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and support daily operational priorities.
